Mixing it Up

Today’s Doing It Different had a Canadian theme.

Let me explain.

The Canadian Australian Club, with whom I’ve had a long-time affiliation had their first Monthly Mixer of the year, but at a brand new venue, the Old Growler that features craft beer and promotes itself as a Canadian eatery.

The Bloody Ceasars, poutine, Canadian inspired burgers along with the chicken wings with blue cheese dressing on offer suggests they deliver on their promise.

We had a great night – lots of familiar faces and a great number of new ones. On one of the hottest nights of the summer here in Sydney, the cold beer and the AC balanced out the warmth of the welcome.

It was fun hanging out and “mixing” with other Canadians and those who love them!
