18.08.2016 – Day 230
Thanks for the Sunshine
As I fight off the jet lag, unpack my bags, and reflect on the past few weeks, I am ever so grateful.
I am so lucky to have the wonderful people in my life who I call friends and family. I am surrounded by love and friendship on at least two continents.
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned from moving my life from one continent to another is that it is the people in your life that provide your quality of life.
Over the past few weeks I’ve been the recipient of so much love and kindness – from people here who have wished us great travels to those here looking after our furboy and our home while we’ve been gone to those who hosted us in their homes, took us out, gave us thoughtful gifts and shared their most precious resource with us, their time.
I think this quote sums it all up quite nicely.
I am grateful that my forecast remains a sunny one and I thank each of you for your part in making it a reality.
