17.02.2016 – Day 48
Why Does This Keep Happening to Me?
Have you ever thought, “Why does this always happen to me?”or just “Why does this keep happening?”.
Often, albeit not always, it means there’s a message in it for you. Often these repeated happenings are doled out with such frequency because we need to learn a specific lesson from them. And, once we do, they stop.
If you’re like me (and many others) you may just pass the odd recurring annoyance off as random, or dismiss it with a “That’s just the way things go” comment rather than noticing what it’s trying to teach you.
Once I became more aware of them, I also started noticing that they became more prominent, and louder and more intense, and more often, if I simply ignored their potential lesson.
Now when something happens more than once or twice, instead of asking. “Why does this keep happening to me?” I ask, instead, “What is this deisgned to teach me? What’s the lesson here?”
The education has been illuminating. You should try it!
