Turn to Face the Strange

Turn to Face the Strange

change direction

If you don’t like where your life is headed, then change it.

While you are still living and breathing, your final destination is not predetermined. You can change direction and take yourself down an alternate path.

It doesn’t have to be dramatic change or changing everything all at once. It can be minor course corrections that all add up to taking a new route and ending up somewhere different.

Many of us resist change. We find it unnerving, unfamiliar and it challenges our warm and comfy status quo. Yet, if we aren’t happy with the results we’re getting in our personal lives, with our careers, our physical or emotional health, we can create an alternate reality. But, to do this, we must change something – and possibly a lot of things.

There may be some of us who are all or nothing folks, so we might be the type who goes and changes everything all at once – you may pick up and move to another country where you change just about everything that’s familiar. Sound a little like someone you know?

There are also those of us who prefer eating our change cheese in smaller bites. And that’s okay too. Some of us even hop back and forth from making  massive life changes to then implementing little ones that are more like refinements than actual changes.

Regardless which type you are, there is one thing for sure – if you want different results, you have to change something. You have to turn to face the strange.

So what’s it going to be?

What one thing might you change, even if it’s just slightly, that could start leading you in a different direction?
